Product Overview

The JRS-A Heat-Shrink Splice Protector is designed for reliable fiber optic distribution in plastic accessories applications. Heat-shrink splice protector for fusion splices. Polyolefin with stainless steel rod. Fiber optic accessories. Direct manufacturer, MOQ from 1.

The JRS-A is a heat-shrink splice protector built on cross-linked polyolefin with a stainless steel rod inside, engineered to protect fusion splices in closures, trays, and distribution boxes. Available in 60mm, 45mm, and 40mm lengths, it covers standard fusion splice sleeves for a range of splice closures.

The cross-linked polyolefin shrinks when heated to tightly encapsulate the fusion splice, while the integrated stainless steel rod provides rigidity that keeps the protected splice straight and prevents fiber bending at the splice point. It is compatible with standard splicers.

The multiple sleeve lengths (60mm, 45mm, 40mm) let technicians select the right protector for different splice closure tray sizes, protecting fusion splices and reducing the risk of microbending at the splice. Rated for -40 to +85 degree C.
